Our goal is to provide every student with a professional, respectful, and productive learning environment that meets the certification requirements set by the certifying organization. To ensure a positive experience for all participants and uphold training site safety, students are expected to: Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with courtesy and respect. Follow all classroom and safety instructions. Participate fully in course activities, including hands-on skills practice and required assessments. Refrain from disruptive, inappropriate, threatening, or abusive behavior. Silence or mute electronic devices during instruction, except when needed for emergencies or approved course-related activities. Arrive on time and remain present for the duration of the course. Maintain a learning environment that allows all students to focus and participate successfully. Course content, testing standards, and certification requirements are established by the certifying organization and are not subject to modification by individual students or instructors. Questions and discussion are encouraged; however, students are expected to follow the course curriculum and instructional guidelines as presented. Students who engage in disruptive behavior, refuse to follow instructor directions, create unsafe conditions, repeatedly interfere with instruction, or otherwise disrupt the learning environment may be removed from class. Removal from class for conduct-related reasons does not entitle the student to a refund, course credit, or complimentary rescheduling. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual whose conduct is determined to be disruptive, unsafe, threatening, or inconsistent with maintaining a professional learning environment.
Our Guaranteed Class Commitment ensures that we do not cancel classes due to low enrollment, upholding our student expectations. However, the safety of our students and instructors is always our top priority. Classes may be postponed or rescheduled due to severe weather, declared States of Emergency, hazardous travel conditions, widespread power outages, facility closures, public safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, all of which are critical for maintaining training site safety. If a class must be rescheduled for any of these reasons, students will not incur any rescheduling fees. We will make every effort to place affected students into the next available class or arrange an alternate training date that meets certification requirements. If weather or travel conditions are questionable, students should monitor their email and phone for updates regarding class status.
In the event of instructor illness, family emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent instruction, affected students will be notified as soon as possible. We understand that meeting certification requirements and student expectations is crucial, and we will offer rescheduling options at no additional charge while ensuring training site safety.
Clients hosting onsite training must ensure they meet certification requirements by providing a safe, clean, and reasonably quiet training environment that aligns with student expectations and offers adequate space for course activities.
Certification cards are issued electronically unless otherwise specified by the certifying organization, in line with certification requirements and student expectations regarding training site safety.
Students requiring reasonable accommodations should contact us before class to discuss available options and ensure they meet certification requirements. This way, we can make appropriate arrangements to align with student expectations and maintain training site safety whenever possible.
To protect the privacy of students and uphold the integrity of course materials, audio recording, video recording, livestreaming, and photography during class are prohibited without prior permission from the instructor. This policy aligns with student expectations regarding a respectful learning environment and ensures compliance with certification requirements. We also prioritize training site safety by reserving the right to stop any unauthorized recording and may remove students who refuse to comply.
Certification cards are issued only after successful completion of all certification requirements, including attendance, skills evaluation, and any required written examinations. While attendance is important, it alone does not guarantee certification. Students must meet the student expectations by demonstrating proficiency in all required skills and successfully meet the standards established by the certifying organization, all while adhering to training site safety protocols.
Only registered students may attend class to ensure compliance with certification requirements and to uphold student expectations. To maintain a professional learning environment and guarantee training site safety, guests, observers, family members, friends, and children are not permitted in class. Students requiring the assistance of an interpreter or other approved accommodation should contact us prior to class so appropriate arrangements can be made. Pets are not permitted in the classroom; however, service animals trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability are welcome in accordance with applicable law. Students who arrive with unregistered guests, children, or pets may be denied entry and required to reschedule their training. If you have questions about accommodations or special circumstances, please contact us before your scheduled class.
Classes may be conducted at rented training facilities, conference rooms, business centers, community spaces, or client locations. These facilities are used solely as training venues and are not responsible for course content, instruction, certification decisions, scheduling, or administrative matters related to the class. Students are expected to adhere to student expectations by exercising reasonable care while attending training and following all posted facility rules, safety instructions, and directions provided by the instructor. Training site safety is a priority, so participants should immediately report any unsafe condition, injury, or accident to the instructor. We ask all students to be respectful of facility staff, property, and rules while attending training. By helping us maintain a professional learning environment, you ensure that these facilities remain available for future classes. Questions regarding certification requirements, course registration, scheduling, or policies should be directed to us rather than the facility hosting the training.
CPR and first aid training involve physical activity, including kneeling, lifting, bending, and performing chest compressions on training manikins. By participating in class, students acknowledge the student expectations and are responsible for determining their own physical ability to participate safely in course activities, ensuring compliance with certification requirements. Students with physical limitations, injuries, medical conditions, or concerns about participation should contact us prior to class to discuss available options and ensure training site safety.
